Money Matters: A Critical Look at Bank Architecture, exhibition files, 1986-1993

The "Money Matters" exhibition files contain the records of the Office of the Registrar, the Curatorial Department, and the Director's Office. Arranged by subject, the exhibition files include: checklists, clippings, conservation notes and condition reports, contracts, exhibition budgets, a greensheet and plot plan for the Houston installation, lender files, and shipping records. Correspondence and curatorial notes are extensive and document the selection of photographers and banks for the project, production of the catalogue, and arrangements for the traveling exhibition.Within curatorial correspondence files are letters from each commissioned photographer describing technical and formal decisions made during the project.
